On today's  discussion we where talking about the book the grate Gatsby. We where trying to say what the book was about with saying the whole plot. In my group we said that "A man that is trying to relive his past but is blinded that money fixes everything.

The reason that Gatsby stops having parties is because  he got daisy and that’s the only reason he has been throwing these big parties. Gatsby also fires all of his staff for gossip does not spread. Gatsby tells Daisy to say that he does not love Tom. But Tom tells Daisy that he loves her. Daisy runs over the mistress.

One big question that got my attention was if the school really cares about our education or does it care about money. This is because I do wonder if the school only cares about the money.

My first impression of "On Self-Reliance"

My first impression was that this story was saying some motivational things like to belie in your self. Also one thing I saw was that the story had a lot of male terms to describe female.
